grahamdonlon Kahil El Zabar is a master of the deep groove, almost anything he is on is worth hearing.

Grant Ray They performed at San Francisco's Bird & Beckett, right before this album came out, and it was one of the most profound moments of jazz I've had the honor and privilege of witnessing. This album can't replace being there, but it comes mighty close.

Charlie Moonbeam This record is essential.

The Spirit is alive and fully-formed.

The grooves are effortless and inviting.

The feeling while listening is catharsis.

The whole record is a beautiful, subtle statement of healing and peace in a time where it's desperately needed. The opening track for me is a go-to for open-ended meditation and peacefulness. It's an album that does what it says on the box, and an incredible jazz record. giventofly87
